In popular imagination, Argentina is associated with tango and football! And yet, it would be a pity to miss out on a unique experience south of the 42nd parallel, very close to Chili in the Andes Mountains. The proximity of the Pacific Ocean causes abundant precipitation in the region, which covers the glaciers with lovely powder snow.
With set-downs possible at altitudes of up to nearly 2,500 meters, you can enjoy some great descents and a variety of terrain. Set off down steep couloirs with your skis quivering before riding down alpine slopes with gentler turns.
