In popular imagination, Argentina is associated with tango and football! And yet, it would be a pity to miss out on a unique experience south of the 42^nd parallel, very close to Chili in the Andes Mountains. The proximity of the Pacific Ocean causes abundant precipitation in the region, which covers the glaciers with lovely powder snow.
With set-downs possible at altitudes of up to nearly 2,500 meters, you can enjoy some great descents and a variety of terrain. Set off down steep couloirs with your skis quivering before riding down alpine slopes with gentler turns.
